Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMCS) Aldridge
(HMCS) Aldridge was born in Cushing, Oklahoma and entered the Navy on 13 March 2007. After completing recruit training and Hospital Corps “A” School, he reported to Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida where he worked at Naval Air Technical Training Center Branch Medical Clinic and attained the rank of HM2. In 2010, he completed Deep Sea Diving Technician School (Class 10-80-2C/DMT) and reported for duty at Naval Special Warfare Group THREE (NSWG-3) Detachment Little Creek, Virginia. While stationed at NSWG-3 he obtained his Expeditionary Warfare Specialist and Naval Parachutist Qualifications while on his first deployment to the middle east.
In 2014, he completed Deep Sea Diving Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC) “C” School and was promoted to First Class Petty Officer. He then transferred to Underwater Construction Team TWO (UCT TWO) in Port Hueneme, California and completed 2 Indonesia and Pacific (INDOPACOM) Deployments while completing several diving qualifications and his Seabee Combat Warfare Qualification.
In April 2017, he reported to the Center for Explosive Ordinance Disposal and Diving in Great Lakes, IL as the Medical Department Head and High Risk Instructor. There he earned his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Sciences degree while helping to build a new selection course for EOD, Navy Diver and Dive Medical Technicians and earning his Master Training Specialist designation.
HMCS Aldridge reported to NSWG-EIGHT Hawaii in 2020 as the Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor for undersea programs. There he completed a Masters of Science in Operations Management and has put those tools to use during the merger amongst the NSWG-THREE and NSWG-TEN commands. He completed the Senior Enlisted Academy (251 Purple) during this tour as well.
From 2023 to 2026 he served the Department Head and Senior IDC at Explosive Ordnance Disposal Support Unit ONE in Coronado CA where he managed a team of 7 junior HMs ensuring medical coverage across 12 Units of action and 5 Areas Of Responsibility. Here he completed his 4th deployment onboard Naval Station Bahrain with Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit THREE.
He has been married to Rachelle Aldridge for ten years and enjoys spending time with their 10 month old Dogo Argentino and exploring National Parks and traveling.
HMCS Aldridge’s personal decorations and military awards include: Navy Commendation Medal (4 Awards), Navy Achievement Medal (4 Awards), Presidential Unit Citation, Battle E (2 Awards), Navy Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal (6 Awards), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (2 Awards), Global War on Terrorism Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Medal (2 Awards), Humanitarian Service Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (4 Awards), Navy Accession Training Service Ribbon, and Expert Pistol and Rifle.

Bring your lawn chairs, wave your flags, and celebrate together as Downtown Cushing hosts one of Oklahoma’s most exciting patriotic community events.
